Renew your spirit, invigorate your mind, and learn practices that can help to keep you centered for the rest of your life as you enjoy the beautiful healing setting of Menucha Retreat Center located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area just 20 miles east of the airport in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Theo Paredes, a native of Cusco, Peru, is an anthropologist who began his apprenticeship with indigenous healers at the age of 11. He has spent a lifetime developing his skills as a healer and a teacher. With his help, you will begin to understand how ancient peoples worked with energy.
Dr. Paredes will lead us in physical and meditative exercises through which we can begin to clear and renew our own energy bodies. During free time you can relax in our private buildings, enjoy the beautiful grounds with extensive wooded hiking trails, spend meditative time walking the labyrinth, or relax in the large swimming pool with panoramic view of the Columbia River Gorge.
The cost of the workshop is $475, which includes all teachings, six delicious meals, snacks, and two nights' accommodation. Housing is primarily in large bright double rooms with private bath, all comfortably furnished with bedding and towels. Triple rooms with tranquil views and a private bath are available at a cost of $425. Special diet requests can be accommodated for an additional payment of $10. If you send payment in full by August 1st, you have earned a $50 discount from the above prices (so double room is $425, triple room $375).
